Obituary for Lois Fenerty

Lois A. Fenerty (nee Heintz), 74, of Vineland, NJ passed away early Wednesday morning January 11, 2023 at the Inspira Medical
Center, Vineland, NJ. Lois was born & raised in Philadelphia, PA where she was a longtime resident prior to moving to Wildwood
and eventually to Vineland. She was 1 of 8 children born to the late Elva & Otto Heintz. Lois was preceded in death by her sister
Linda.

Lois was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School. She went on to attend Temple University where she wrote for the student
newspaper and graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Journalism.
While living in Philadelphia she was employed by Sun Oil, Horizon House and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
She also worked as a computer consultant for Real World Systems.
Lois and her children lived in the area of South St. in the 1970’s and 1980’s and were well known in the community. Lois enjoyed
listening to live music and hanging out at JC Dobbs, O’Neals and other places where she had many friends.
Lois later moved to the Italian Market area with her husband Guy. However the area became too dangerous and in 1993 they moved
to Wildwood, NJ where they became year round residents for 27 years.
It was there that Lois started her own computer consulting company named Magnolia Software. Together with her husband they
provided Information technology services to the Wildwood and Sea Isle city governments as well as many businesses up and down
the Jersey Shore. Her business associates remember her as a strong-willed person with a heart of gold who often went out of her way
to help customers. She had a natural ability for accounting and computer systems that made her much sought after.
It was her family that made her the happiest. She was the family historian and the person to go to for birthday, anniversary and
information on long lost relatives. She recently held a Christmas dinner that took two separate days to accommodate everyone and
had visits from her children and their spouses all week.
She had recently moved to Vineland to be closer to her family and medical care.
She is survived by her husband; Guy D. Fenerty, 3 children; Dawn (Dave) Drummond, Lois Ann (Tommy) Rivera, Robert Guldin. 7
grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; Otto, Donald, Paul & Richard Heintz, 2 sisters; Connie & Kandi, as well as many
